As part of the Plumpton Road Upgrade, Aspen Road at Springvale will be closed. As a result, minor route changes will apply to the following school bus services from Monday, 17 August 2026:
- S103- Springvale to Sth Wagga PS. This service will now commence at the corner of Mallee and Aspen Road.
- The service will depart at 07.37 and then travel via the normal route. Students in Aspen Road will need to make their way to the corner of Mallee and Aspen.
- S162 -Kooringal to Lake Albert.
- Students in Aspen Road will need to make their way to the corner of Mallee and Aspen by 08.29am
- S181 -Springvale to The Riverina Anglican College. This service will now commence at the corner of Mallee and Aspen Road.
- The service will depart at 07.37am and then travel via the normal route. Students in Aspen Road will need to make their way to the corner of Mallee and Aspen.
- S186 -Kooringal to Kooringal PS.
- Students in Aspen Road will need to make their way to the corner of Mallee and Aspen by 08.16am
These services below will no longer travel on Aspen Road. Service will travel via Lloyd and Mallee. Students for Aspen Road will be set down at the corner of Mallee and Aspen.
- S114 -Mater Dei College to Lloyd Road
- S119 -Wagga Wagga Christian to Springvale
- S203 -The Riverina Anglican College to Springvale
The route changes are expected to have minimal impact on students. Affected schools and families will receive specific information outlining the revised routes and any changes to bus stop locations or pickup times.
